In collaboration with the Director of LASP and the executive team, this role represents LASP objectives, champions strategic positions for large missions and instrument lines, leads capture efforts, and oversees proposal activities across key partner relationships. The Director of Strategy and Partnerships leads a team of proposal and capture managers to identify, formulate, and support research and technology in emerging opportunity areas spanning government, commercial, philanthropic, and international sectors. Capture&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#10;&#10;&lt;ul&gt;&#10;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Interact with prospective principal investigators (PIs) to maintain a continual awareness of future ambitions&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Evaluate proposal opportunities and assess resource and capacity requirements for responding to calls, working closely with LASP leadership&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Publicize upcoming proposal opportunities within LASP&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Lead a team of proposal and capture managers to grow the quality and number of proposals submitted by LASP principal investigators and by external principal investigators partnered with LASP scientists and technologists&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Oversee the submission of large mission, instrument, and research proposals, including conducting internal reviews to ensure proposal excellence&lt;/li&gt;&#10;&#9;&lt;li&gt;Oversee the LASP Strategy and Partnerships Committee, a rotating group of scientists and technologists to support the Director of Strategy &amp;   <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;PROFIL DU POSTE (Contexte, description du projet et activit&amp;eacute;s principales)&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&#10;La contamination microbiologique repr&amp;eacute;sente un enjeu central pour l&amp;rsquo;industrie laiti&amp;egrave;re en raison de la forte valeur nutritive des produits laitiers, qui en fait un milieu particuli&amp;egrave;rement favorable au d&amp;eacute;veloppement de bact&amp;eacute;ries, levures et moisissures. Les sources de contamination sont multiples et interviennent &amp;agrave; toutes les &amp;eacute;tapes de la cha&amp;icirc;ne. Dans ce contexte, la ma&amp;icirc;trise de la contamination via des strat&amp;eacute;gies de d&amp;eacute;contamination efficaces et adapt&amp;eacute;es &amp;agrave; chaque matrice telle que le lait est un imp&amp;eacute;ratif majeur pour l&amp;rsquo;industrie laiti&amp;egrave;re moderne.&lt;br /&gt;&#10;&lt;br /&gt;&#10;Pour les matrices alimentaires, les m&amp;eacute;thodes de d&amp;eacute;contamination diff&amp;egrave;rent selon la nature du produit. La pasteurisation constitue la m&amp;eacute;thode de r&amp;eacute;f&amp;eacute;rence pour le lait. Le proc&amp;eacute;d&amp;eacute; HTST (High Temperature Short Time) consiste &amp;agrave; chauffer le lait &amp;agrave; 72 &amp;deg;C pendant au moins 15 secondes, ce qui &amp;eacute;limine efficacement les pathog&amp;egrave;nes tout en pr&amp;eacute;servant partiellement les qualit&amp;eacute;s organoleptiques du lait. Pour une st&amp;eacute;rilisation plus pouss&amp;eacute;e, le traitement UHT (Ultra High Temperature) expose le lait &amp;agrave; des temp&amp;eacute;ratures sup&amp;eacute;rieures &amp;agrave; 135 &amp;deg;C pendant 3-4 secondes. Ces traitements thermiques pr&amp;eacute;sentent n&amp;eacute;anmoins des inconv&amp;eacute;nients majeurs : d&amp;eacute;naturation des prot&amp;eacute;ines, perte d&amp;#39;ar&amp;ocirc;mes volatils, d&amp;eacute;gradation des vitamines thermosensibles (vitamine C, B12), r&amp;eacute;actions de Maillard entra&amp;icirc;nant un brunissement non enzymatique, et une modification du point de cong&amp;eacute;lation.&lt;br /&gt;&#10;&lt;br /&gt;&#10;Les limites des m&amp;eacute;thodes conventionnelles de d&amp;eacute;contamination ont conduit &amp;agrave; un int&amp;eacute;r&amp;ecirc;t croissant pour des proc&amp;eacute;d&amp;eacute;s non thermiques plus respectueux des matrices laiti&amp;egrave;res et de l&amp;rsquo;environnement, tout en garantissant un haut niveau de s&amp;eacute;curit&amp;eacute; microbiologique. Parmi ces technologies &amp;eacute;mergentes, les plasmas froids &amp;agrave; pression atmosph&amp;eacute;rique apparaissent comme une alternative prometteuse aux traitements thermiques et chimiques, en permettant une inactivation microbienne efficace &amp;agrave; basse temp&amp;eacute;rature sans ajout direct de r&amp;eacute;actifs chimiques. Plusieurs travaux montrent que les plasmas froids peuvent &amp;ecirc;tre utilis&amp;eacute;s pour la d&amp;eacute;contamination du lait, ouvrant la voie &amp;agrave; une approche int&amp;eacute;gr&amp;eacute;e de ma&amp;icirc;trise de la contamination dans les ateliers laitiers.&lt;br /&gt;&#10;&lt;br /&gt;&#10;Cette th&amp;egrave;se a pour objectif d&amp;rsquo;&amp;eacute;valuer le potentiel du plasma pour d&amp;eacute;contaminer le lait destin&amp;eacute; &amp;agrave; la production de produits laitiers (lait de transformation). Un lait artificiel standardis&amp;eacute; servira d&amp;rsquo;abord de matrice mod&amp;egrave;le pour optimiser les param&amp;egrave;tres de traitement (type de d&amp;eacute;charge, tension, gaz, temps d&amp;rsquo;exposition). Ces conditions optimales seront ensuite affin&amp;eacute;es puis valid&amp;eacute;es sur du lait &amp;eacute;cr&amp;eacute;m&amp;eacute; et du lait entier. Le d&amp;eacute;fi est d&amp;rsquo;&amp;eacute;tablir des conditions de traitement permettant une inactivation bact&amp;eacute;rienne sans modifier significativement les propri&amp;eacute;t&amp;eacute;s fonctionnelles, sensorielles et nutritionnelles du lait. Les travaux de th&amp;egrave;se ont &amp;eacute;t&amp;eacute; d&amp;eacute;compos&amp;eacute;s en 3 lots.&lt;br /&gt;&#10;&lt;br /&gt;&#10;&lt;strong&gt;L&amp;rsquo;objectif du lot 1&lt;/strong&gt; est d&amp;rsquo;identifier la source plasma la plus adapt&amp;eacute;e au traitement du lait en se basant sur l&amp;rsquo;efficacit&amp;eacute; de d&amp;eacute;contamination des syst&amp;egrave;mes plasma test&amp;eacute;s et leur capacit&amp;eacute; &amp;agrave; pr&amp;eacute;server les propri&amp;eacute;t&amp;eacute;s physico-chimiques du lait. Les caract&amp;eacute;risations seront bas&amp;eacute;es sur des diagnostics &amp;eacute;lectriques et optiques (spectrom&amp;egrave;tre, camera ICCD). Les t&amp;acirc;ches associ&amp;eacute;es sont les suivantes : caract&amp;eacute;risations exp&amp;eacute;rimentales de prototypes plasma pour le traitement du lait ; estimation de la puissance consomm&amp;eacute;e ; identification des esp&amp;egrave;ces r&amp;eacute;actives produites en phase gazeuse ; visualisation de la dynamique de d&amp;eacute;charge plasma (homog&amp;eacute;n&amp;eacute;it&amp;eacute;, stabilit&amp;eacute;) ; validation crois&amp;eacute;e efficacit&amp;eacute; microbiologique/qualit&amp;eacute;.&lt;br /&gt;&#10;&lt;br /&gt;&#10;&lt;strong&gt;L&amp;rsquo;objectif du lot 2&lt;/strong&gt; est de d&amp;eacute;montrer l&amp;rsquo;efficacit&amp;eacute; biocide du plasma sur le lait et de contribuer &amp;agrave; la phase d&amp;rsquo;optimisation du lot 1.
